    Question

How do these compare in :

    a. Quality

    b. Performance

    c. Noise

Any input from those who have dealt with either (or both) units would be appreciated.

Anyone seen or heard the Apexi WS exhaust??

I've heard the Greddy is good from most but there's a group buy on the Apexi right now that I am looking into.

i could never buy greddy ever again my pe rusted out in 8-9 months, the resinator rusted and caused a buzz sound!
performance is great, nice sound when it was new. the power extreme's tank is just too big though.(but your looking at the sport one)sport? why not PE anyway? or evolution?

    anyway
    take choice B.
or look at tanabi's kit or the 5zigen kit.
just put on the 5zigen today nice, quiet, and it tucks tight, and high.
    tanabi is like-475 now
    5z... was like 460

I didn't think they made PE or EVO for the 4-dr.

I'm not promoting Greddy or anything, but I've had much better luck with my Greddy PE.

It's been on for almost 10K miles, 19-20 months. Gone through a northeast winter (Road Salt, big time!).

There's some surface rust on the resonator and other non-stainless parts, but no leaks or problems yet.

Plus, with 60mm (2.36") piping and 70mm (2.76") piping through the muffler section, it's not a bad choice size-wize for moderate (8-10psi) boost.

And it somehow manages to be relatively quiet when driving calmly.

I have had good luck with my PE exhaust. It is loud as hell with the blower and test pipe though. I liked the looks and sound of my old SP though, but a little too restrictive when I went turbo (now supercharged).

Well looks like I'm going to try out the Apexi WS since I can get it for $389 shipped on the group buy board.

I've heard good from both sides so I don't think there will be that much of a difference (exept in my wallet smile ).

Plus SP is the only 4-dr listing I've seen from Greddy.

I just put the WS on my car, replacing my Thermal. The WS has exceptional build quality and provides a nice quiet ride until you step on it hard.

I did lose a little power from my Thermal though but the WS is a helluva a lot quieter.

I personally liked the looks of the thermal better too since the WS is extremely shiny and draws a little too much attention to itself (I like the subtle look).

Other than that, the WS performs very well.

JR Supercharger (6 psi), HO fuel pump, RS*R Header, Apexi WS cat-back exhaust, Iceman Intake, Neuspeed Front Tower Bar, Type-R Rear Swaybar, Short Shifter, ST 1.3" drop springs

    AND NO STICKER'S ANYWHERE!!!!
